Cruises: installing a Yacht Club.

Well, as wise people say (and we often say it, too) nothing succeeds like excess. And nothing is more indicative than excess. We’re not weighing down on this, Per-Se: to each their own right? More power to you, but when is enough?

Seasoned travelers usually line up in two categories: they love cruises or they hate cruises. There doesn’t seem to be much middle dry land, or even on water. But leave it to the big thinkers to leap beyond those restraints. To cut a long story short, MSC cruises is putting a yacht club into an older ship. Wait, what???

MSC Cruises is bringing the MSC Yacht Club, its luxury all-inclusive cruising concept, to MSC Magnifica, as part of significant enhancements being made to the ship that will also see the introduction of new MSC Aurea Spa and MSC Gym Powered by Technogym. Ready for action? We are!

MSC Cruises is bringing the MSC Yacht Club, its luxury all-inclusive cruising concept, to MSC Magnifica, as part of significant enhancements being made to the ship that will also see the introduction of new MSC Aurea Spa and MSC Gym Powered by Technogym.

Later this year the MSC Magnifica, originally launched in 2010, will undertake a substantial dry-dock refurbishment, transforming some of the public spaces, including the addition of MSC Cruises exclusive “ship within a ship” concept, the MSC Yacht Club, making her the latest ship in the MSC Cruises fleet offering this exclusive project. Wow.

Sales opened May 28 for guests wishing to book the MSC Yacht Club on MSC Magnifica starting from summer 2026. This includes the first time the MSC Yacht Club has been available on itineraries from Warnemunde to Baltic/Scandinavian destinations plus the 2027 MSC World Cruise.

“The MSC Yacht Club is one of our most highly regarded products, loved by guests for its outstanding level of service, elegant spaces and exclusive facilities, so we are proud to be bringing this to MSC Magnifica,” said Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises. “The extensive remodeling is the largest we’ve undertaken in the last ten years and underlines our commitment to offer our guests the best possible guest experience across our entire fleet”. This just might be the ticket to push you cruise-shy adventurers to make the leap.
