Coast Bus Tours

Who you gonna call? Oh, ha ha, we can hear you say. Another misguided pun. True, but we’re not the only guilty ones. In London, they have Ghost Bus Tours. We took one of their adventures a while back and it was loads of fun. And what a fun way to get around, especially if you’re a bus fan of the Double Decker style. While sometimes seen as less “adventurous” than independent travel, taking bus tours can be a genuinely fun and incredibly rewarding way to explore, especially for certain types of travelers or destinations. Going coast to coast is also a real winner, especially since it offers environmental wins, as well. You can’t lose, especially if you’re up on the top floor.

We’re featuring a well-known species of double-decker bus, used mostly for journeys, but sometimes primed up and ready to go as a tourist bus. We’re located in Vancouver Canada and, to our knowledge, we’ve only see the double-decker variety being called into service for local transit. We’ve never actually seen them as tourist options. Until now. Big Bus Tours have now added Vancouver to the list of locations.

Getting around Vancouver can be a tricky thing, as traffic is often bumper to bumper, and you need to be quick to secure your seat. Big Bus Tours are perfect for visiting locations such as Stanley Park, Vancouver Art Gallery, the Museum of Anthropology houses and more. Imagine breezing your way around, as simple as that.
