‘World’s Most Scenic Railway Journeys’ Chamborigaud Viaduct with Tim Dunn is hot on our list today. Chamborigaud is a commune in the Gard department in southern France. The village is known for its stunning railway viaduct, designed by Charles Dombre, the construction of which ended in 1867. Unlike most other bridges of this type, the curve of the Viaduct of Chamborigaud faces upstream.

When rail is part of the plan, sign us up. The more we spend time on Matouring, the more we find to share with you. Ever-so-slightly self-righteous when it comes to chiding the world to ditch the cars and take the trains, we are forever on a mission to flip that and watch the world catch up with those who train, and those who don’t. Seriously, do yourself a favour. Promise yourself that you will take a train journey soon, even if it’s only of a few hours. Watch your stress levels fall as you sit back and watch the world go by, saving the planet, too.
