If you’re a regular reader of our site, you know how much we love rail travel. In these times of climate change, companies and nations are failing to meet their objectives to reduce emissions and embrace renewable energy. Humans – in many places – are addicted to their automobiles.
As we always say, rail is a viable, useful, convenient and obvious choice for travel. Most of the world relies on it, except in the USA. We have posted a few articles about this.

But that’s not to say that the USA doesn’t have rail – it does, Amtrak, and it’s a service that people in North America really need to investigate.
