These kinds of posts are always fun – the birth of a new baby, as it were. In this case, the baby is an Airbus A350 that is now proudly part of ITA. And who is ITA, you may ask? Well, out of the troubled, yet much loved, Alitalia comes new and shiny ITA. They have done their work to leave behind the past and go forth. For those of us (Matouring included) who flew on Alitalia, it was a bittersweet event when the airline finally closed its doors. Our family had many unforgettable holidays to Italy courtesy of Alitalia, and we will always have a warm spot in our hearts.
