All you can eat flights.

If you feel like a failure when you forget to send birthday cards on time, then let us encourage you to simply breathe in and breathe out. We humans are not the only entities on the planet who make mistakes. Companies do as well. This story is both funny and baffling. How can some companies get it so wrong, or at least not quite right?

What starts out as a rather exciting and, frankly, rare occurrence of airline service, where, American Airlines Meal Rule Has no exceptions. That sounds like it’s too good to be true.

Well, it is, and it isn’t. The gotcha is that the airport that benefited from that perk closed 30 Years Ago! American’s standard policy is to serve meals in first class at meal times on 900 mile flights or longer.

But there’s a strange reason that American Airlines serves meals in first class between Chicago O’Hare and Denver. The fact that it happened is understandable. But the truth that it still happens is even better . . and funnier.
