Air Transat. What’s that?

To those of us who live in Canada, there is a well-known name, but it might not be as well known to the rest of the world: Air Transat.

Air Transat is Canada’s number one leisure airline. It flies to some 60 international destinations in more than 25 countries in the Americas and Europe, offers domestic and connecting flights within Canada, and carries some 5 million passengers every year.

It is also an integrated international tourism company specializing in holiday travel and offering vacation packages, hotel stays and air travel.  A one-stop hop, to be sure.

Air Transat flies to Guadeloupe.  Each “wing” of butterfly shaped Guadeloupe offers tourists a different experience. Grande-Terre is a relaxation lover’s beach paradise, while Basse-Terre, with its volcano and hiking trails, is perfect for adventurers.
