War is always terrible – we can agree on that. But, some wars truly show the caliber of some countries and some individuals.
As you may know, during the mid-1800’s the United States of America was torn apart by a divisive civil war. There were a number of factors at play in that war, but a major rift was between the north and south people of the country supporting – or fighting against – slavery.
There still lingering historical sentiments that exist, and we have seen that recently: people rising up.
So, it is with some mixed feelings that we feature the General Robert E. Lee museum to you. Then again, we must live and learn. Never again.
