A number of years back, a British company called Yotel turned the existing concept of holiday stays upside down, focusing mostly on the existing hotel concept and offering that has existed forever. They describe themselves as YOTEL offers guests a hotel experience that challenges the status quo, with a promise to deliver a different kind of stay through awesome people, smart design and the creative use of technology.
But, even more than that, they offer fun. Always playing with their brand and their products, you can always rely on something new. Yo took its inspiration from Japanese hotels that offer tiny “rooms” (known as pods) where users hunker down and save a lot of money.
We’ve stayed in them before, and they’re also affiliate partners of ours.
