Dutch feat.

Tick tock, Tick tock, sounds the clock. The planet is not cooling down. Quite the opposite. The current world population is 8,232,458,392 as of Monday, June 30, 2025 according to the most recent United Nations estimates. Most of us know about this existential threat. But most just go on their way, with nary a care. Perhaps that’s OK for you, but what will your great, great, great grandchildren say as they grapple with a parched, simmering, elbow-to-elbow planet? Houten, a town near Utrecht, is often cited as one of the best-designed in the Netherlands and even the world, thanks to its focus on cycling and pedestrian-friendly infrastructure. However, many other Dutch towns are also celebrated for their design, including Rotterdam, known for its modern architecture, and Delft, famous for its historic charm. Watch the video above and marvel at the logic and clear thinking.
