Le prix de Paris

We’ll be up front, right away. We don’t care. If we have the cash, we’ll dash. Wouldn’t you?

Good news! Living in Paris is generally considered expensive, especially when compared to most other cities in France and many other European capitals. However, it can be relatively less expensive than global hubs like New York or London. Let’s look at some examples. Studio Apartment: Expect to pay anywhere from €900 to €1,500 per month, depending heavily on the neighborhood, size, and whether it’s furnished. If it’s just you and a cat, a 1-Bedroom Apartment (furnished): Typically ranges from €1,500 to €2,500 per month.

Top tip: The least expensive arrondissements in Paris are generally considered to be the 18th, 19th, and 20th arrondissements, particularly the 19th. While prices can vary within these arrondissements, they are typically more affordable than those in the city center or more fashionable areas. For example, the 19th arrondissement has some of the lowest prices in Paris, around €6,700/m2, while the 20th arrondissement’s prices range from €7,000-8,000/m2. The Goutte-d’Or neighborhood in the 18th arrondissement is also known for its lower prices,

Here is a no-brainer: Location is Key: Rents are significantly higher in the central arrondissements (districts) and desirable areas. Moving further out can reduce costs, but still remains pricey. We don’t know about you, but we’d be happy to sell a kidney to live there. To each their own. WOO-HOO!
