Gabon and on and on . . .

Welcome to what is often called Africa’s Last Eden. Gabon is a country that often passes by when travelers consider new and enticing places to explore. We can certainly understand why this might happen, when you stop and consider the other African countries that are calling your name.

When you’re “up against” places like Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo and more, the going can be tough for the tourism groups there. The good thing is that there are so many places to visit. But, here we focus on Gabon.

The world is waiting for you. All you need to bring is a smile.

Often referred to as “Africa’s Last Eden,” Gabon boasts vast tracts of relatively untouched rainforest, making it one of the most biodiverse countries on Earth. This offers a unique opportunity to experience nature in its rawest form, unlike more developed tourist destinations.

Such as? “Surfing Hippos” and Beach Elephants: Loango National Park is famous for its incredible phenomenon of hippos and forest elephants venturing onto the beaches. This unusual sight of large African mammals by the Atlantic Ocean is a major draw and a truly unique experience.

Even as the world gets bigger and more populated, there are those who still go without. Those of us who can help, owe it to our other brothers and sisters on the planet. Watch the video above and choose a place like Gabon when you next travel. See below for tours with G Adventures.
