This post is a bit sneaky and a bit cheeky. The title is somewhat of a deliberate puzzle, or more accurately, a double entendre. As the subject matter starts to unfold, you may get it, or you may not. But, for sure, you should plan on making a bee-line to the objective.
And while the Amalfi Coast is famous for its stunning coastal drive, picturesque towns like Positano and Amalfi, and glamorous atmosphere, there are many unusual and off-the-beaten-path experiences to discover for visitors looking for something different.

Do you want to coast your way into the Amalfi way? What about Exploring the Ruins of San Eustachio Church (Scala): Discover the atmospheric remains of a 12th-century church, offering a glimpse into the area’s medieval past without the usual crowds. Another obscure but worthwhile endeavor is to wander the Ruins of Abandoned Paper Mills (Valle delle Ferriere, near Amalfi): Hike through a nature reserve and discover the remnants of Amalfi’s historic paper industry.
For sure, a bit specialist, but still not your typical tour, the kind of exploring that is not only surprising, but also something that nearly everyone touches and experiences. Indeed, to many intrepid explorers, fine paper, parchment, pens, pencils and inks are treasures.

How could you not desire a speed boat around Amalfi. Picture yourself rubbing elbows with stars like Sophia Loren, Marcello Mastroianni, Alberto Sordi, Vittorio De Sica, and Gian Maria Volonté. These actors, along with others like Nino Manfredi, Vittorio Gassman, and Anna Magnani. Ahhh. If only we had a time machine. To cap this travelogue off, you won’t be able not to coast your way into a heavenly sleep for the night.
