EasyJet Island

Upon reflection, the title of this post and, indeed, the subject matter, might come across as one of those horrible television shows where pneumatic blondes and their inflatable hubbies spend one hour of your precious time getting tanned or, mostly, arguing. Not our thing, to be honest, but these series persist and, often propagate. And when we mention series, in this case it’s a television series consists of several episodes aired in succession. What’s nice about that is that you can stop watching, if you want to.

So, with all due respect to our very wonderful and “not like what you just read” treasured affiliate friends, EasyJet, have just launched the “longest ever flights” to a ‘breathtaking’ tropical island for just £134 GBP. The destinations are rather tasty: they include the island of Sal in Cape Verde in the coming year. They will also eventually fly the carrier’s present longest route serving an UK airport between Manchester and the Egyptian beach resort town of Hurghada. This tempting option will be rolling out systematically. Keep your eyes peeled.

Whether it’s now or later, OMIO can get you there. They partner with easyJet as well. Easy! Click here.

It’s also good to see them building on their existing longer routes, like Manchester to Hurghada. This systematic rollout suggests they’re serious about exploring this longer-distance, budget travel market.

For those looking for a more exotic getaway without breaking the bank, especially from the UK, this could be a very appealing development. It will be interesting to see how these routes perform and if they expand to other “breathtaking” tropical destinations in the future.
