A typical question. You may ask this time and time again with your family and friends. When it’s down, it’s a catastrophe. When it’s crummy, it’s a nightmare. But here’s a post about when your WIFI goes down when you’re in space, or sorts. Elon Musk is a name we’ll all know by now. He’s done a lot of good things, so let’s park the negativity for now. One of his better and most magnanimous endeavors is his Starlink project which aims to provide Wi-Fi to places where it’s difficult to find it (or the Wi-Fi is horrible.) To us, that gesture was indeed something good, and he should be lauded for it.
But this post takes the Starlink services and focuses on other uses of Starlink. Pity the poor people who can’t afford to use onboard Wi-Fi services: too expensive. Thus, some enterprising Wi-Fi users have found a way to capture their home Starlink service to use 30,000 and 40,000 feet above up in the air. Nifty, but they’re still not happy. Poor things.
