We always like to be able make you aware of something new (to us) in travel and we think we have one here. If you happen to fly in North America, specifically in Canada, there are other options for airlines than just Air Canada. We have long been extolling the virtues of Air Transat, an airline we like very much and one you should look into if you find yourself on the Canadian side of the continent.
But we’ve also been recently turned on to another quite good, smaller Canadian airline, Porter. Porter Airlines revolutionized short-haul flying in 2006 with a commitment to speed, convenience and service. Effortless travel, genuine hospitality, and amenities that enhance the traveller’s journey, are all delivered in style and comfort.
What’s interesting about them to us is that, like Air Transat, they skip using Boeing planes, too. Instead, they fly de Havilland Canada DHC-8-400 turboprop aircraft and Embraer E195-E2 jet aircraft. They’re an epiphany. Quiet, fast and extremely comfortable.
If you find yourself in the great white North, give Porter a try. Click here.
