On January 31, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. PST, the United Kingdom made the stupidest “decision” in modern-day thinking. It was Brexit (British Exit) where by a paper-thin majority, Britain left the European Union, an idiotic move that still brings pain to the UK and to Europe. What were they thinking? Maybe nothing at all, but the chants from most corners of Britain were a colossal mistake. (We’re still fuming, read more about it here.) Even now, legions of erudite and correct Brits bolstered by cohorts from Europe still lobby for Brexit to be reversed.
So, what to do? Most Brits would happily opt to move to Spain. It’s been over three years since Brexit and yet confusion and misconceptions remain on how to move to Spain. Brits can already live in Europe, if they wish. They can purchase houses, cars . . . the whole deal. They can even apply for healthcare while there after some effort, but there are lots of hurdles.
But the biggest bugbear is that they cannot be European citizens. This post presents some options. Why visit Málaga? The natural beauty, of course, but also don’t miss its historic center, with its Moorish castle, Roman amphitheater, and Renaissance cathedral. And who could forget the stunning beaches along the Costa del Sol, perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and water sports. Ready to book your flights?
