Not So Pharoah away

We don’t feature him as much as we should (we’ll correct that) but Davud Akhundzada is, to us, the gentleman tour guide if history is your thing, like it is ours, especially if it’s far-flung places where you might (wrongly) question your desire to tread. Once a corporate lug like so many of us, from the former Soviet Republic, Davud has now cast his fate to the wind by producing terrific YouTube videos that are not the usual fodder.

In the video above, Davud explores Inside The Tombs Of Egyptian Pharaohs. Yes, it’s a YouTube video. Yes, there might be some places that you’ve already seen, or wish to see. But Davud is a marvel when it comes to making new friends, sharing new locales and finding ways of saving money, especially with the many hawkers that he encounters on his journeys.

His video are thorough, but not salesy. He gave up his corporate job to chase destinations new. And you really will get the feel of what you need to do when you want to step out of your comfort zone. We can all learn from his demeanor and how he greets new humans and experiences. So, sit down, relax and watch how its done. Click here
