Rocket, rocket USA

For the most part, the USA has created the concept of a space program. There have, of course, been other countries who have also done the same, but none with the depth and overall success of the States. And while it’s always been a competition, it’s also been an unspoken race about which country will go the furthest and take the biggest strides. Russia has always been nipping at NASA’s heels with some incredible feats, and even wannabes like Elon Musk – with quite a bit of success – and Jeff Bezos have thrown their hats into the ring. But none of them have been able to truly stay the course and make the big leaps.

For us older folks, we’ve seen most of this during our lifetimes – lucky us! – but what about the generations who have followed? What have they seen and learned? Space travel seems like an “also ran” when it comes to “the next generation.” Still, there are some hardy parents who ensure that their offspring know what’s what. We’re those kinds of parents, so we’re affiliate friends of NASA, and will always trumpet the successes, no matter which group goes to infinity and beyond. So, here we feature a chance to not only thrill your offspring, but to give yourself a bit of exhilaration, too.
