“Park” Life

This post is ‘two for the price of one’ of sorts. Many of us have had that urge to be free – mortgage free – and free as a bird. But this post is about super-nice Canadian chap, Matt, and his lovely Korean beau, Yujin who have decided to throw in the towel and no longer be belabored with a home and a mortgage.

They opted to chuck it all in, bought a van and turned it into a lifestyle as well as a home. And this is not one of those behemoths of a camper: it’s lean, efficient, economical and comfy: it could have spent its life being scratched and dented by builders, but has landed in the hands of these two loving new owners. Want to try it? Watch the video below, step-by-step.

Of course, this approach will work anywhere in any country. They pretty much lay out the entire approach for you to then take and run with. What do you think? I’d be up for it. Want to give it some more thought? We have a number of posts on this very subject. Click here.

The major plus of campervans is that you have the freedom to explore off-the-beaten-path destinations and stay in remote locations. They can be a more affordable option than hotels or hostels, especially for long trips. Modern camper vans are equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay, including a bed, kitchen, bathroom, and heating/air conditioning. The list goes on and on.
