Le train to Montmartre

If you’re a Paris aficionado, you might find the title of this post to be a bit odd. Sure, you know Montmartre inside and out, but where does rail fit into this equation? There isn’t one, right? There are lots of busses nearby, but trains? Of course, you can take the Metro – Line 12 (Abbesses) and Line 2 (Anvers and Blanche) – are the most convenient. But that’s the Metro, which doesn’t really qualify as a train, at least not in our purview for this post.

OK, so we’ve kind of done a bit of sleight of hand here, but it’s all worth it, especially when you tell your friends that you’ve taken the train to Montmartre. What’s even better, is that this form of rail will make everyone who takes it squeal with delight. So what are we actually talking about? Montmartre’s Little Train roundtrip tour. Get on board this little train and immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere of Montmartre!

During the tour, you’ll have the chance to comfortably move around the neighborhood discovering its picturesque boutiques, admiring its famous caricaturists at work and experiencing its authentic restaurants. Get down the train whenever you like to explore the area on foot, to get lost among its colors and perfumes and to get some of the most beautiful panoramic views over Paris. Click here to book your train.

Is it even possible to get tired of this view? We can never get enough.

May we suggest you stay at the lovely and central Hotel du Champ de Mars? Located in Paris, Hotel du Champ de Mars is 2953 feet from the Eiffel Tower and 2297 feet from Les Invalides. It offers free WiFi access, a 24-hour frond desk and individually decorated guest rooms. We love it. Click here to book.
