One thing that you have to love about the internet is its complete coverage of almost all of the planet. In 2023, the number of internet users worldwide stood at 5.3 billion, which equates to around two thirds of the global population currently connected to the world wide web. And, for those who can, travel is a big thing. And most people who travel do it to not only see the sites, but to also possibly rub elbows those who live there. How many times have you accidentally started up a conversation with someone from somewhere far away from you and – et voila – discovered that you had something in common? It’s happened to us many times and, thankfully, they’re fast friends now. It’s so gratifying.
What’s even more fun is when they take off in a completely different direction and find joy in aspects of your world that knock your sox off, so to speak. If that’s your thing, watch as a group of mature Japanese adults re-invigorate and re-live rockabilly music. It’s the cat’s meow, baby.
