Does it add up? As the world slowly wakes up from a long self-inflicted malaise, the resulting upheaval and exposes itself to all of the planet’s inhabitants (mostly now thanks to social media, the likes of You Tube, WhatsApp, and others) we now can at last, get a look in to what life is really like in places that were once just distant names. We’re truly fortunate in this day and age.
How lucky we are and, to used a hackneyed phrase, blessed. Just a few decades ago, some people on the planet may never have heard of Tibet, let alone have a chance to go visit and explore. But perhaps you might want more.

You Tube, or course, offers an endless variety of video content creators who open our eyes and minds to show that we are not all that different. It’s more or less owing to where we ended up landing on this planet, and whether we decide to stay or to go.
The delightful and joyful video above, A Tibetan wife and her 3 husbands, will make you laugh while realizing that we’re actually all the same really. Most of us have cell phones. Most of us have cars. Most of us have some form of healthcare and, most of all, we have each other, really. With that bevy of online tools, a new friend is just a smile away.
Most of us have have families that we love. If anything else, we can now see that truly discovering our fellow homo sapiens is within reach. Sit back, be amazed and really truly think about where your next adventure might be. See below for some possible ways of seeing this unique place. When you’re ready to visit the planet again, our affiliate friends, Wendy Woo have journeys to Tibet and beyond. Rail journeys, too. Click here

To travel to Tibet as a foreigner, you must obtain a Tibet Travel Permit and travel with a licensed tour guide throughout the trip. Many reputable travel agencies offer tours with experienced, English-speaking Tibetan guides. These agencies can help with the permit application and arrange for comfortable accommodations, reliable transportation, and altitude support. One such person is Jamyang on YouTube. See below.
